The ice is melting

Six degrees has never felt so warm! But after minus last week, and with no wind today, it feels like spring is coming. The snow is melting, revealing vast swathes of rough grass and roads of solid ice. The days are melting also. Yesterday, I didn’t even find a significant ‘thing’ to write a post about except that the church mass was cancelled for some reason and I went to the pool where there was an inordinate amount of teenagers in the hot pots (heitu pottu).

I have been tweaking and testing the walk yet each attempt reveals new problems. The route is not long enough, leaving the audience to stand in certain spots for too long. And always wondering, how much of myself should there be? And, how can I signpost the space we are in so that the audience can listen and notice their surroundings while still having all the material I want in there. Another question is, how should it end? What is at the end.

Anyway, I did manage to track the shipment of earphones I ordered from New York, so I guess that was a win.

This is a draft of the flyer or program for the event. I have dispensed with the idea of providing a map as the idea is for people to follow the instructions.
