As instructed, you enter the single room that overlooks the main road. You sit down and listen to people talk about arriving in Ólafsfjörður. Standing up, you walk to the window and look out at the road. There is one tunnel in and one tunnel out of town. This road is like the highway through. The view leads directly to a large red house. I am staying here. Am I home now? It’s time to have a look around, you leave down the narrow staircase and walk outside.
The walk then proceeds through the supermarket, across the carpark, along the harbour and up towards the rescue centre.
